How business association partnerships work

Good360 makes the partnership easy! Our partners consist of a broad range of companies including nearly half of the Fortune 100 consumer and retail product corporations, a diverse network of more than 4,000 nonprofit organizations and some of the most respected business associations in the world (representing industries including apparel, furniture, retail, software and technology, building materials, sporting goods, toys and educational equipment and supplies). Good360 offers business associations a unique way to extend the benefits of product philanthropy to their members. Good360’s Association Partnership Program can be customized to achieve association objectives. Ongoing services, as well as tailored components, are provided at no cost to business associations and members. - While the specific structure of each partnership varies, generally the program services include:
- Donation management for ongoing giving programs and one-time donation opportunities
- Customized association/member communications, including media outreach when appropriate
- Tradeshow donation management, allowing exhibitors to donate onsite to avoid costly repacking and shipment of samples
- Quarterly campaigns/emergency relief coordination Targeted recognition strategies including industry awards programs.

AAFA members have also contributed generously to disaster relief support. American Lighting Association Association of leading manufacturers, retail lighting showrooms and sales representatives in the United States and Canada ALA members support Gifts In Kind International’s Community Building program with donated products helping charities create emergency shelter, fund low-income housing, and complete neighborhood revitalization projects. ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership "Inspiring Leadership and Achievement - Our passion is to help association professionals achieve previously unimaginable levels of performance" ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership provide Good360 with a communications network to its association professionals members through its publication, Associations Now and various tradeshow and conferences. Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers Leading industry organization representing manufacturers of major and portable home appliances Through Good360's Community Building program, AHAM members donate products that help communities revitalize existing neighborhoods and rebuild after emergencies. Members also provide needy families with resources needed to transition into temporary and permanent housing. AHAM will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2007 and to commemorate this milestone, AHAM is sponsoring “Home Sweet Home” a product donation program with a goal of supplying at least 40 families living in New Orleans with needed appliances during the rebuilding phase in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. It is their way of celebrating the 40 years of service by AHAM to its members and the public by giving back to communities in need. AHAM has partnered with Good360 and the United Way of the Greater New Orleans Area to coordinate the donation process and are encouraging all of their members to get involved. American Society of Landscape Architects National professional association representing landscape architecture, encompassing analysis, planning, design, management and stewardship of the natural and built environments ASLA members provide expertise and materials to create, revitalize and rebuild in many venues: residential, parks and recreation, monuments, urban design, streetscapes and public spaces, and hospitality and resorts, to name a few. Members donate product following ASLA’s Annual Meeting & Expo to local Good360-registered charities. Canadian Office Products Association Canadian office products industry’s resource for information, news and discount programs Good360 Canada™ partners with COPA for Kits For Kids Back-to-School and Holiday Kits For Kids and Families. These programmes provide disadvantaged children and families throughout Canada by providing school supplies, clothing, toys and other items in late summer and during the holiday season. IBM Canada associates volunteer many hours to assemble thousands of kits twice a year. The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), with its 2,100 member companies within the United States, promotes the growth of the consumer electronics industry through research, information sharing, technical training and other resources. Through a partnership with Good360, CEA members can donate electronics and technical equipment through tradeshow donations and ongoing giving programs to benefit nonprofit organizations throughout the United States that are helping people in need. Product donations from CEA will help these charitable organizations improve their efficiency and effectiveness. Green Media Enterprises Green Media Enterprises, a portfolio company established in 2007, provides an integrated media platform dedicated to the green marketplace and seeks to produce comprehensive trade shows, seminars, publications, and websites dedicated to all things green. Good360 partnered with Green Media Enterprises in 2008 to manage the organization’s tradeshow donations at the following inaugural events: Green West Exposition in May of 2008 and Green East trade Exposition in October of 2008. More information on Green Media Events is available online. International Housewares Association Association of Retail Companies and Wholesale manufacturers in the housewares industry. IHA members gave generously to disaster relief in 2005, providing appliances, kitchenware and other houseware items to those impacted by Hurricane Katrina and supporting Good360’s Community Services and Community Build programs. ISSA Leading trade association representing manufacturing, marketing and distribution of cleaning and maintenance products ISSA members generously donated urgently needed cleaning products for emergency relief following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005. In addition, ISSA directs all product donations following their tradeshow, ISSA/Interclean to local charities for the day-to day needs of communities and families. International Society of Hospitality Purchasers Premier hospitality purchasing professionals association dedicated to ethical procurement standards and fiduciary responsibility, development of universal product standards, and the development of educational and professional standards for the industry. Members support Good360’s Community Services program through ongoing donations throughout the year, as well as at ISHP-sponsored Hospitality Design (HD) tradeshows. Annually, ISHP tradeshows generate hundreds of product donations of furniture, fixtures and equipment for local communities. ISHP also provides disaster relief support following national and global emergencies. National Association of Chain Drug Stores Foundation Education, research and charitable affiliate of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, supporting programs that advance the chain pharmacy industry for the benefit of the public it serves Through a partnership with Good360, NACDS Foundation encourages retailers and suppliers to donate available inventory to charity and earn tax savings. Chain pharmacy industry leaders donating through Good360 include CVS, Wal-Mart, Target, Kmart, The Gillette Company, Kimberly-Clark and Hallmark. The National Association of Home Builders As “the voice of housing industry”, NAHB represents over 235,000 members consisting of home builders, remodelers and others associated with the home building industry and services. NAHB's vision is to foster an environment in which all Americans have access to the housing of their choice and the opportunity to realize the American dream of homeownership, builders have the freedom to operate as entrepreneurs in an open and competitive environment and housing and those who provide it are recognized as the strength of the nation. Through a newly launched program, NAHB members can now donate products to benefit Good360’s Community Building program which will help communities rebuild following the devastation caused by Hurricanes Ike and Gustav as well refurbish housing and shelters in existing neighborhoods nationwide. National Retail Federation World's largest retail trade association, membership comprises all retail formats and channels of distribution including department, specialty, discount, catalog, Internet and independent stores, as well as the industry's key trading partners of retail goods and services NRF members Office Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond and Gap Inc., to name a few, participate in the Retail Donation Partner (RDP) Program, providing donated product from retail stores, distribution centers and corporate facilities to support local communities. Member companies also provide support following national weather-related emergencies including hurricanes, tornadoes and flooding. NRF regularly publicizes product philanthropy benefits through Good360 in STORES magazine. National School Supply and Equipment Association Leading trade organization serving the school market, promoting quality educational products and services produced and delivered by professional suppliers and dealers Through Schools In Need, NSSEA members donate newly manufactured educational products, equipment and other materials for nonprofit organizations and Title 1 schools serving underprivileged, displaced and at-risk children across the United States. In 2004, NSSEA members provided educational supplies to the U.S.-led effort to open schools for Iraqi children. Members also donate product at NSSEA-sponsored tradeshows throughout the year, including the School Equipment Show and Ed Expo. NEWH, The Network of the Hospitality Industry The premier networking resource for the hospitality industry. NEWH provides scholarships, education, leadership development, recognition of excellence, and business development opportunities. A new association partner in 2008,Good360 will manage NEWH’s regional tradeshow donations at various cities throughout the US. Donations of furniture and accessories from exhibitors will benefit local charities in the community. Good360 and NEWH will also partner to offer additional donation program activities for NEWH members. More information about NEWH is available online. The Newspaper Association of America Foundation The Newspaper Association of America Foundation strives to develop engaged and literate citizens in our diverse society through investment in and support of programs designed to enhance student achievement through newspaper readership and appreciation of the First Amendment. The NAA Foundation's partnership with Good360 supports student achievement through Newspaper in Education (NIE), newspaper youth content and scholastic journalism by promoting the products and services available through Good360 to qualified schools involved in the Foundation's sponsored programs. Professional Convention Management Association International association of professionals in the meetings and convention management industry In 2005, Good360 partnered with PCMA as a component part of PCMA’s Network for the Needy program, which promotes volunteerism within the organization. Members donate exhibit products and samples through Good360 from events in the US and Canada as well as products outside of the trade show venue with the goals of providing service and improving communities Public Affairs Council Leading association for public affairs professionals, providing unique information, training and other resources to support effective participation in government, community and public relations In 2004, Good360 moderated a session on “Doing More With Less,” during the Corporate Community Involvement Conference, co-sponsored by PAC and The Conference Board. Sharing the podium with Goldman Sachs and Shell Global Solutions, Good360 spotlighted corporate and philanthropic benefits of product giving. This partnership furthers the reach of corporate philanthropy throughout the United States and abroad Reverse Logistics Association Reverse Logistics Association is a trade association that monitors thousands of third party service providers worldwide that provide Aftermarket Supply Chain services, while supporting the outsourcing needs of OEM, ODM, Branded and Retail companies. The Reverse Logistics Association began partnering with Good360 in 2008. RLA will promote Good360's wide range of donation services to tradeshow attendees. Soap and Detergent Association The leading association represents manufacturers of household, industrial and institutional cleaning products, their ingredients and finished packaging. The Soap and Detergent Association (SDA) has partnered with Good360 to offer a new product donation program, Let’s Start Clean. The goal of the program is to create and make available 5,000 “Cleaning Kits” to communities recovering from natural disasters such as tornadoes, hurricanes and floods. The program also provides cleaning products to agencies supporting transitional housing in communities throughout the United States. Software & Information Industry Association Principal trade association for the software and digital content industry, providing global services in government relations, business development, corporate education and intellectual property protection. Through Good360, SIIA members – including Adobe, Autodesk, and FileMaker – donate software and provide discounts to help nonprofits more efficiently deliver critical community services. Good360 also co-sponsors the industry’s product philanthropy award, Excellence in Giving, as part of the CODIE Awards program. The Excellence in Giving Award recognizes software and information companies’ philanthropic commitment to communities as demonstrated by their product-giving programs. Past recipients include ChoicePoint, Autodesk, Adobe and IBM. Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association " The Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association, owner of the Sports Research Partnership, is the global business trade association of manufacturers, retailers, and marketers in the sports products industry.
