A 9/11 Tribute to Our Veterans
Where were you on September 11, 2001? Almost everyone can remember where they were and what they were doing on that tragic day, nearly 10 years ago. Many lost family or friends in the attack, and many more made a commitment to support and protect our nation's ideals. A decade later, our military is still supporting the United States abroad. What some don’t realize is that sadly, military veterans often come back from serving our nation and do not have the necessary resources they need to lead the same lives as when they left. Good360 works with thousands of nonprofits whose mission is to help military families, veterans and active members and will be collecting product donations on their behalf for the entire month of September. In memory of the victims of the 9/11 attacks and in honor of the men and women who serve and protect our nation, please support Good360 in providing products for nonprofits that support military families and veterans so that together we can join the 9/11 Tribute Movement, for the National Day of Service and Remembrance. Several companies have already committed to donating inventory for this important day. Lauren Cochran from L'Oréal USA told Good360, "We are coordinating efforts with all L'Oréal facilities throughout the country to recognize the 10th Anniversary of 9/11 by giving back to others. Through this employee engagement campaign, we will bring together hundreds of people to participate in the National Day of Service and Remembrance." Good360 will also be teaming with The Home Depot Foundation for the annual National League of Cities service project during the 2011 Congress of Cities & Exposition to distribute kits of product donations to nonprofits that serve veterans and active military families.
Together, we have an opportunity to meet nonprofits' basic needs by providing access to these items. If your company is able to provide products, please donate here or email Doyle Delph, Vice President of Donor Relations, at
