Kathy Compton is Chief Marketing Officer for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, a 30,000 member organization that represents the interests of professional fundraisers and the charities they serve around the world. Previously, she served as Chief External Affairs Officer for the Society for Human Resource Management, one of the largest and most influential associations in the country, where she lead the public and government affairs divisions. Kathy was a member of the 2010 American Marketing Association Senior Nonprofit Marketers Summit and with that group co-authored Marketing Transformation which was released in October, 2010. She was a member of the Boards of Directors for the Public Affairs Council and the Centers for Disease Control’s Business Responds to AIDS, and the Client Advisory Board for the Council of Public Relations Firms. She joined the Board of Directors for Good360 in 2009 where she served on the Governance Committee and co-chaired the Business Development Committee. Mr. Mike Kelley
